We are announcing a vacancy for the position of Project Manager for The Reckoning Project.
The NGO "Public Interest Journalism Lab" researches, creates, and promotes the best forms of socially beneficial journalism in the digital media era.
The Reckoning Project unites Ukrainian and international journalists, lawyers, and analysts with experience in dealing with war crimes in Syria, Bosnia, Chechnya, and Rwanda. In the project, we collect evidence of Russian crimes in Ukraine to build cases for the courts and prepare media projects for Ukrainian and foreign media. The key team of the project is led by Natalia Humeniuk, American war correspondent Janine di Giovanni, and researcher Peter Pomerantsev.

Responsibilities:
Project administration and team organization.
Collaboration with partners (law enforcement agencies, lawyers, human rights activists, media, cultural institutions, etc.).
Interaction with the international project team (communication support with international partners, including media, universities, memorials, lawyers, human rights activists, international organizations, cultural institutions, etc.).
Planning project events, assigning responsibilities, monitoring task execution.
Deadline management.
Maintaining project infrastructure stability and development (archives, security protocols, etc.).
Proactive organization of events (screenings, presentations, discussions, etc.) both online and offline in Ukraine and beyond.
Brainstorming ideas for project expansion/improvement.
Organizing training and events as required by the project.
Preparing program reports on project implementation, evaluation, and monitoring project quality.
Ensuring the operation of the website and social media in collaboration with the team.
Requirements:
Proactiveness, results-oriented mindset, and high responsibility.
Relevant education and at least 4 years of project management experience (experience in media/journalism projects is a plus).
Ability to work with information and complex topics.
Communication skills, responsibility, initiative.
Strong organizational skills.
Fluent in Ukrainian (both oral and written) and English.
Business communication and effective internal/external communication skills.
Understanding of human rights issues.
Information analysis and organization skills.
Excellent proficiency in office software and digital tools (Office suite, Google Docs, Zoom, cloud services, etc.).
