The Reckoning Project team presented The Scariest Days of My Life at the Lviv Book Forum

On October 4th, The Reckoning Project team has presented a reports book titled "The Scariest Days of My Life." This is a historical document from the first year of the full-scale russian invasion. The voices of witnesses and survivors within it have already disrupted Russia's intent to once again conceal its own misdeeds and drown their memory in an ocean of falsehoods.


Discussion focus on how justice in Ukraine can serve as a deterrent to impunity worldwide and prevent future tragedies.



Participants:


Janine Di Giovanni, co-founder of the project, American war correspondent, and investigator. She has worked in the Balkans, Africa, and the Middle East and has received numerous journalistic awards.


Peter Pomerantsev, co-founder of the project, senior research fellow at SNF Agora, publicist, and propaganda researcher.


Oleksiy Radynsky, documentary filmmaker and the author of the film "Chernobyl 22," which has received several international awards, including the grand prize at the Oberhausen festival.


Angelina Karyakina, journalist and media manager, co-founder of the Public Interest Journalism Laboratory .
